Sighting description

- While walking on the beach, heard noise

and shone flashlight out to see animal

15-18 feet long, beige in color.

- Turned and looked at witness then dove

into the water.

- Head like a boxer with a wide lower jaw.

Sighting description

- Sitting on deck of the boat watching four otters,

then spotted disturbance and an animal playing

in water.

- Looked like a giant otter but was persistent in

saying it was not a seal, sea lion or otter.

- Snake like head, when head bump and tail

appeared at once, measured it at approx.15 feet.

- Black in color.

Sighting description/

- Saw ocean going creature 200m

off shore, after seeing a splash.

- Swam along the surface for about 100m.

- Looked like a row of strange animals like mini porpoises or otters riding along the surface, but not disappearing.

- Head would come out of water, looking like a seal head or short nosed sheep - like head.

- Entirely blackish - brown and appeared to have floppy dorsal fins.

- Dumbfounded as I am a biologist and could not explain what I was seeing.

Sighting description

Tues/June 8

- Saw 2 half tires,10-15 feet apart. - Saw no head. - 150 feet from shore.

- Dark grey color. - Left a large wake moving north.

- Saw one hump and thought of Orcas, then left for 10 seconds to grab glasses and saw

two humps for 5-10 seconds, then submerged leaving a large wake that took up the total

view from the deck. - Not whale, seal or dolphin.

Sighting description

Sat/June 19

- Saw head like a large giraffe, long neck up to 2-3 feet. - Two ears/horns on top of head (large)

- Head was bigger than mooring buoy. - Smooth, gun metal grey color.

- Head and neck upright, moving North. - 110-125 feet from shore.

- Large half tire hump behind head, very thick, could see the ocean through it.

- Boat came along opposite direction, it submerged straight down. - Watched it for 15-25 seconds.

- Must have been moving slightly towards shore as I could see 2 ears /horns.

Location - Galiano Island B.C.

Climate/Water - Calm

Sighting description

- Visibility was excellent and sea was flat calm.

- Animal was swimming 300 feet offshore and purposefully southeastward.

- Thought at first it was a seal but didn't swim like one, came up twice and stuck it’s head

about three feet out of the water.

- Head looked like a dog or horse, color of an Irish retriever, with a mane.

- Went down and no fins were seen, somewhat of a hump.

- It was the length of a pick up truck or more, left a wake.

Location - Finn Slough, Richmond B.C.

Sighting description

- Saw and animal with it’s head sticking three feet out of the water, swam toward the mouth of the Fraser River near Steveston.

- Trailing behind the head and neck were two low humps, ear - like protrusions from the head and what looked like a mane.

- The animal barely created a ripple as it swam, wake was very smooth, and sunk down vertically when a fast moving boat

appeared close by.

Sighting description

- Animal was Approx 10-15 feet in Length,

cylindrical and dark in color.

- Animal was relatively calm, lying on the

surface for up to 5 minutes staring shoreward.

- Did not note a snout.

December 15th 8:30 AM

Location - Galiano Island

Climate/Water - -

Sighting description/

- Looked like a giant snake, black glossy body standing out of the water about 3.5 to 4 feet high.

- Long tail wagging in and out of the water.

- 40 - 50 feet long, diameter around 20 - 25 inches.

- Head turned back and forth from the beach to the splashing tail.

Photo/Physical Evidence - Yes but inconclusive.

Date/Time - May 8, 2019, 7 PM

Location - Port Townsend

Climate/Water - Calm

Sighting description/ - Body seemed covered in rough,

irregular bumps. - It seemed to have a dorsal ridge, other

times depending on the sun it looked like a dorsal ridge

that started and stopped at certain points, but the body's

side was always bumpy.

- Entire creature was dark brown-grey.
